This voice of progress has not left…our Country… our Nation…and indeed, our birthplace …our home, and dear native Motherland.

So Listen to that purposeful voice within you,

Listen to your dreams.

Listen to the aspirations and hopes you have for your family.

Listen to the plight of the Suffering. 

Listen too, to the mourning mothers of Jos and Delta; those darkened areas, afflicted with:

• A Deplorable Abandon
• Lack of Security.
• A Wild Lawlessness
• Much Agonising Discontent
• And a Severe and Punishing Despair

Listen too, to your own sufferings; your Seething Anger, and Deep Frustrations Over the succession of Governments, who’ve failed to grapple with Nigeria’s Monumental Failings and Needs of Infrastructure.

• No Electricity
• No employment
• Poor Education
• Bad Health Care…etc; and yet we want, and expect foreign investment to run come.

But most of all, listen to that voice within you, which is saying… what you already know, it is saying; and no matter how much you try to quieten it…It speaks up…louder; saying:

Dear Nigerian,

Hello. Once again, that point has been reached; when we need to ask: where is the Giant of Africa. Is it Sleeping…Is it Hiding…Is it Lost…Or is it; Dead?

Well! What we do know…however, is that it is: Absent; for surely, by now we ought to have seen its empty hand.

If it is truly; yours truly Absent; then we should celebrate…be happy… and begin the hard but exciting work of nation building, by ourselves: for the Giant of Africa has let us down. We’ll build another monument, a real one. One that is visible, concrete, and never absent. We can do this; after all we are Nigerians.

Our democracy is still young; its legs wobble, and fall down; a lot of the time. But we do not despair, we must not despair, the only way is up; and how nice it would be if a past and quiet voice of progress becomes emboldened, to speak: so that we have a bold consensus and national recovery.

The Nigeria Political System needs more people to add their progressive voices to the fray of Nigeria Politics. Our Nigeria Political History is still being written, and it’s about time a new Nigerian Leadership tackles those key and salient issues with the wisdom and focus, these priorities merit; and that they do so; now.

Nigeria Political Issues are many, Our nations Issues are numerous. Of all these issues, none compares to the absence of a – wide and broad and deep base of - active, intelligent, dynamic, and very capable and progressive people from all over the Nigerian Political Map; working together in a singular vision: combating poverty, unemployment, our poor infrastructure and so on and so forth…helping forge; a strong confident, secure and prosperous nation, with its wealth and newer opportunities spread all over, giving people; new and better lives to be proud of.

Democratic politics is about engagement, it’s a dynamic process of discussions and debates: between and within us, between and within our leaders, and between us and our leaders.

But the heart and pulse of the true democratic leadership resides - neither in the leader nor the governed; but in the blissful harmony…the inspiring excitement and the hard knocks and falls of that fray: and all to do with a wonderful union.; the marriage.

A wonderful marriage: between; a voicing public and its listening leaders; and between a visionary leadership and its sighted followers.
