Stand Up Nigeria [SUN], is a consequence and initiative borne out of frustration of Nigerians being frustrated. And tired of being tired.. Frustration with the Nigerian conundrum. Nigeria, today, is like a student with a potential for a 4.0 GPA, who belies this potential by a series of under-achievements.

In spite us, being gifted above - many, we have shown an amazing capacity for redefining failure over and over again.

Stand Up Nigeria, is an ideological call to a confrontation, against the ideas, and processes, that have stunted our blossoming into the great nation we have been dodging to become.

We believe that, we are more than capable of achieving more than - our immediate and distant past records.

Stand Up Nigeria [SUN]  is a - not for profit, non-sectarian, non-religious, pacifist movement open to all who love this great country.

We believe that through persuasion, intellectual discussion, theatre, and other non-violent advocacy, or confrontation, we can get our people, our leaders, and those of us who follow them, to change this nation.

We will collaborate with like-minded organizations that may be either political, or apolitical.

Our ultimate aim is the enthronement of good governance, equity, justice, and an open united society in Nigeria.
